Evolving over time from its quarrying roots a century ago, it now is a leader in renewable energy with innovative energy-led projects that help create a positive legacy for generations to come whilst successfully restoring and developing its former quarry land.
Arnold White Group is the owner of the land at Littleton Green which is currently in use as farmland.
MEET THE TEAM
To deliver the vision for Littleton Green, a carefully selected project team, each of them leaders in their own fields, will include planning consultants, masterplanners and other technical specialists. All are dedicated to ensuring that the aims and objectives for Littleton Green are realised to help deliver an outstanding operational net zero carbon scheme using state-of-the art-technology whilst delivering an exceptionally high quality landscape-led scheme.
Built Form Resource, David Jarvis Associates, Abrams Archaeology and Aspect Ecology are the consultancies dealing with masterplanning, landscape, heritage, archaeology and ecology at Littleton Green. Their ethos is to design a wholistic operational net zero carbon new community that is a rich experience for all living in and around it – socially, environmentally and economically. Working collaboratively, they are dedicated to creating a shared vision and masterplan for this ground-breaking new proposal with its landscape-led design that benefits both people and nature alike.
Arrow Planning, Engena and Lichfields are the consultancies dealing with the planning application, the energy planning elements of that as well as the environmental impact assessment for Littleton Green. Working on innovative approaches to the new energy park and community to be set within an existing surrounding environment, they seek to maximise any environmental, social and economic opportunities and avoid or mitigate any adverse effects identified through the assessment process.
SMA are a leading-edge multi-disciplinary consultancy who are undertaking work on the technical aspects of the scheme including power, water, drainage, transport and other infrastructure that delivers exemplary sustainable development by its very nature.
Chess Engage are a specialist communications consultancy with a wealth of expertise in planning, development and local government.
